A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Happy New Year to you and your family from the Board of Directors and myself.  We hope 2012 is a joyful and prosperous one with plenty of fishing to brighten your days.

I want to begin by thanking the Board of Directors for electing me as your president for the coming year.  Together we look forward to the completion of ongoing projects and introducing some ideas along the way that will strengthen our membership numbers, build our treasury
and provide more informative and interesting monthly meetings.

MONTHLY MEETING AGENDA

This month’s meeting will take place Tuesday, January 24th.  Mark your calendar because you don’t want to miss this meeting.  Ron Sawyer and crew are going to serve up a delicious spaghetti dinner with all the fixin’s.  They plan to start serving at 6:30.  Dana DiPaolo has offered to provide us with an after dinner presentation that is sure to be informative and entertaining.  Also, keep in mind that we will have the usual raffle table and a special raffle that will go to the club’s general fund. 

UPCOMING EVENTS

The annual Marlborough Fly Fishing Expo will take place at the Crown Plaza Expo Center, off Rte. 495, on January 20-21-22.

            There is a planned smelt fishing trip scheduled for Sunday evening, January 22nd, leaving the club parking lot at 8:00 P.M.  See Harold Pettipas or Ed Flaherty for the details.
